District of Olympus Archives – 33 AD

As promised and delivered unto you, a record drawn from Olympus itself. Dated with Earth’s year 33 AD, this document from the District Archives bears stamps in celestial cycles of Anthesterion and Elaphebolion—moons that governed ancient rites.

At the heart of the docket stands a profound challenge: Clotho Moirai, the youngest of the Fates and God who spins life’s tender thread; and Lesous Nazareth, the mortal who stirred souls toward light. Both unite as petitioners against Verdandi Moirai, the oldest of the Fates who severs life’s thread.

Filed in the mythic month of Anthesterion’s full moon, later appealed from Delphi’s lower courts, this writ of certiorari sought higher judgement. Verdandi opposed fiercely, yet Olympus granted review—vacating the prior sentence, ordering trial de novo — anew from the start — citing precedent in Tantalus V. Pelops: a case of eternal punishment reconsidered, where torment yielded to righteous justice.

Sides divide the divine: Dike Astraea, Goddess of Moral Righteousness, champions petitioners Clotho and Lesous. Nemesis Rhamnousia, in her unyielding retribution, defends Verdandi.

And thus, the fracture among Gods: sisters divided over fate’s rebellion. Clotho’s heart weaving a forbidden union—and Verdandi’s shears claiming him too soon. The defiance echoed across realms, vibrated across frequencies, bringing the highest Court of Olympus to its knees.

With fate broken and a miscarriage of justice irrefutable, the trial of an age was set.
